ApplauZine, a digital newsletter Christel Dusoleil –Applaus co-ordinator Applaus Applaus is a network of thirty cultural centres, the Province of Flemish Brabant and "De Rand" (the Brussels periphery). This collaboration enables the cultural centres to offer a wider range of performances, concerts and educational programs to the public and, even more so, to inform the public in an easy and friendly way via the website www.applaus.be. The site gives an overview of a few hundred activities in the province and wants to lead the way to actual participation for as many people as possible. ApplauZine, a digital newsletter An important tool in our communication is the digital newsletter ApplauZine. Thanks to the EmailGarage tool technology and the partnership with Creative Communication we were able to send this monthly newsletter to 2300 interested people. ApplauZine presents remarkable projects and cultural eyecatchers in the Province and distributes free tickets, which is always a big hit! Every week Applaus produces an internal newsletter to all the members of the network. It is an easy way to inform everyone on what's going on, what's new, when the meetings are planned and what the most important future events are.
