Mio Technology Europe

Mio Technology develops and markets products to enable users to take advantage of the latest developments in mobile services in their professional and personal lives. After entering the European market in October 2003, Mio Technology began to sell their products in January 2004 and products are now widely available throughout Europe, through both specialist and mass market channels, as well as online.

With an increasing focus on direct communication to end-users, we needed a channel that allows us to reach our clients and potential clients directly. A monthly e-newsletter soon proved to be the most appropriate medium to achieve our goals: inform consumers about our products, accessories and services, both new and existing.

Communication without analysis and evaluation hardly has any point at all. Therefore we went looking for a company that could provide us with the logistical means to send out the mail to tens of thousands of addresses each month on the one hand, and that could offer a convenient and easy-to-use tool for analysis of the results on the other hand. We found this combination at EmailGarage.

After 6 months, a first in depth analysis showed amazing results: click-through rates reaching over 100% and opened ratios of about 66%. With advice, tips and pointers from EmailGarage, we are confident to maintain and even improve these results. For the near future, we are planning to personalise the content of our newsletter, a project where the EmailGarage's expertise will be most appreciated.
